Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Sunset

If a Sunset job produces both concrete and general debris, two containers almost always beat one. The concrete stays recyclable, the rest goes as mixed waste, and you avoid paying landfill rates on several tons of rubble.

Most Sunset jobs are residential, which means driveway placement, boards under the rails and a hold that runs a little longer than a week.

Deliveries for this service cover Sunset itself plus Olympia Heights, Westwood Lakes and Glenvar Heights. Tell us the address and the access, and the right truck turns up rather than one that cannot make the turn.

Sizing this job in Sunset

We quote 10 and 15 yard containers for Sunset concrete work. If the job is bigger than about 5 tons the answer is multiple pulls, not a bigger box - a 30 yard of slab cannot legally be lifted.

What the container accepts, what the receiving facility will reject, and the full dimensions and tonnage table are on the Concrete & Asphalt Disposal guide. For Texas-specific rules on permits, disposal rates and ground conditions, see Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Texas.

Sunset questions

Is concrete cheaper to dispose of than mixed debris?

Per container, yes, as long as the load stays clean. Clean concrete is recycled into road base at a lower rate than mixed debris at a landfill. Adding wood or trash removes the saving entirely.

I am pouring rather than demolishing - what do I need?

Liquid washout from chutes and mixer drums needs a lined washout container, not an open roll-off. On commercial Sunset sites that is usually a stormwater permit condition. Ask for it by name.

Do you take rebar-reinforced slab?

Yes. Rebar inside the concrete is normal. Steel protruding above the container walls is not, because the load cannot be tarped and so cannot be hauled.

What happens if I go over the weight limit?

Overage is billed per ton at the disposal rate for Miami-Dade County and you get the scale ticket. We do not mark up tipping fees.
