Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in May

If a May job produces both concrete and general debris, two containers almost always beat one. The concrete stays recyclable, the rest goes as mixed waste, and you avoid paying landfill rates on several tons of rubble.

Jobs around May tend to be one-off: an outbuilding, a roof, a property being cleared. We size generously because a second trip out here is expensive.

Concrete disposal work in May runs on next-day delivery as standard. We cover 76857 and the rest of Brown County, including sites in May near The May Community.

Planning around distance

May is about 44 miles from Stephenville, which puts it far enough out that the delivery is planned rather than improvised. Same-day is unlikely here and we would rather say so up front than promise it and miss.

What we can do is be precise about the day. Give us a date and the container will be there for it, and we will schedule the haul so your crew is not waiting on a truck at the end of the job.

Sizing this job in May

If the May job is mostly soil with some concrete in it, say so when you order. Soil and concrete go to different facilities and mixing them puts the whole load on the more expensive rate.

What the container accepts, what the receiving facility will reject, and the full dimensions and tonnage table are on the Concrete & Asphalt Disposal guide. For Texas-specific rules on permits, disposal rates and ground conditions, see Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Texas.

May questions

Do you take rebar-reinforced slab?

Yes. Rebar inside the concrete is normal. Steel protruding above the container walls is not, because the load cannot be tarped and so cannot be hauled.

I am pouring rather than demolishing - what do I need?

Liquid washout from chutes and mixer drums needs a lined washout container, not an open roll-off. On commercial May sites that is usually a stormwater permit condition. Ask for it by name.

What about asphalt and millings?

Both are accepted and both recycle well, provided they are kept separate from soil and general trash.

Do I need to be there for the delivery?

No, as long as the placement is unambiguous. Mark the spot and tell us which way the doors should face.
