Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Toco

These containers are ordered small on purpose. Concrete runs roughly 2,000 to 2,400 pounds per cubic yard, so a 10 yard container in Toco reaches full legal haul weight at about four or five cubic yards. The rest of the box stays empty by design.

Jobs around Toco tend to be one-off: an outbuilding, a roof, a property being cleared. We size generously because a second trip out here is expensive.

Our Toco rounds take in Family Fun Center, Chapparral Rails to Trails Museum and Flying Tigers Museum, and we run the same routes out to Paris, Reno and Bonham. Booking a concrete disposal for any of them works the same way.

Sizing this job in Toco

If the Toco job is mostly soil with some concrete in it, say so when you order. Soil and concrete go to different facilities and mixing them puts the whole load on the more expensive rate.

What the container accepts, what the receiving facility will reject, and the full dimensions and tonnage table are on the Concrete & Asphalt Disposal guide. For Texas-specific rules on permits, disposal rates and ground conditions, see Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Texas.

Toco questions

How much concrete fits in a container?

Around 4 to 5 cubic yards, roughly 5 tons, before you reach legal haul weight. The container will look part empty when it is legally full, and that is correct.

Do you take rebar-reinforced slab?

Yes. Rebar inside the concrete is normal. Steel protruding above the container walls is not, because the load cannot be tarped and so cannot be hauled.

Can I mix dirt and concrete in Toco?

No. They go to different facilities. Mixing them means the whole load is handled as mixed heavy debris, which costs more than either separately.

Do I need a permit in Toco?

Not on private property such as a driveway or a jobsite lot. Street or right-of-way placement needs a permit from the city, and we will tell you what yours requires before delivery.
