Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Tunis, TX
Dedicated heavy-debris containers for broken slab, asphalt and masonry around Tunis.
Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Tunis
These containers are ordered small on purpose. Concrete runs roughly 2,000 to 2,400 pounds per cubic yard, so a 10 yard container in Tunis reaches full legal haul weight at about four or five cubic yards. The rest of the box stays empty by design.
We cover Tunis through our Burleson County routes. There is no minimum, but a few days of notice lets us schedule it properly rather than as a special trip.
Concrete disposal work in Tunis runs on next-day delivery as standard. We cover 77836 and the rest of Burleson County, including sites around Tunis, not far from Texas A&M University Farm.
Sizing this job in Tunis
For bigger Tunis concrete removals we schedule swap-outs so the crew keeps breaking while a full container leaves. That moves far more material per day than one box and a wait.
What the container accepts, what the receiving facility will reject, and the full dimensions and tonnage table are on the Concrete & Asphalt Disposal guide. For Texas-specific rules on permits, disposal rates and ground conditions, see Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Texas.
Tunis questions
How much concrete fits in a container?
Around 4 to 5 cubic yards, roughly 5 tons, before you reach legal haul weight. The container will look part empty when it is legally full, and that is correct.
What about asphalt and millings?
Both are accepted and both recycle well, provided they are kept separate from soil and general trash.
Do you take rebar-reinforced slab?
Yes. Rebar inside the concrete is normal. Steel protruding above the container walls is not, because the load cannot be tarped and so cannot be hauled.
Do I need to be there for the delivery?
No, as long as the placement is unambiguous. Mark the spot and tell us which way the doors should face.
