Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Turkey

These containers are ordered small on purpose. Concrete runs roughly 2,000 to 2,400 pounds per cubic yard, so a 10 yard container in Turkey reaches full legal haul weight at about four or five cubic yards. The rest of the box stays empty by design.

We cover Turkey through our Hall County routes. There is no minimum, but a few days of notice lets us schedule it properly rather than as a special trip.

Concrete disposal work in Turkey runs on next-day delivery as standard. We cover 79261 and the rest of Hall County, including sites in Turkey near Bob Wills Museum.

Planning around distance

Turkey is about 77 miles from Amarillo, which puts it far enough out that the delivery is planned rather than improvised. Same-day is unlikely here and we would rather say so up front than promise it and miss.

What we can do is be precise about the day. Give us a date and the container will be there for it, and we will schedule the haul so your crew is not waiting on a truck at the end of the job.

Sizing this job in Turkey

For bigger Turkey concrete removals we schedule swap-outs so the crew keeps breaking while a full container leaves. That moves far more material per day than one box and a wait.

What the container accepts, what the receiving facility will reject, and the full dimensions and tonnage table are on the Concrete & Asphalt Disposal guide. For Texas-specific rules on permits, disposal rates and ground conditions, see Concrete & Asphalt Disposal in Texas.

Turkey questions

Do you take rebar-reinforced slab?

Yes. Rebar inside the concrete is normal. Steel protruding above the container walls is not, because the load cannot be tarped and so cannot be hauled.

Is concrete cheaper to dispose of than mixed debris?

Per container, yes, as long as the load stays clean. Clean concrete is recycled into road base at a lower rate than mixed debris at a landfill. Adding wood or trash removes the saving entirely.

What about asphalt and millings?

Both are accepted and both recycle well, provided they are kept separate from soil and general trash.

Do you serve the area around Turkey?

Yes. Alongside Turkey and 79261 we cover Floydada and the rest of Hall County. Give us the ZIP and we will confirm in about a minute.
