Year-round container service across Garden Farms and 93422 - no winter shutdown, and a realistic answer about fire season and the wet months.
Most containers out here are for property clearance - sheds, fencing, timber, scrap and the contents of a building nobody has emptied in years. That is bulky work, so volume usually decides the size rather than weight.
Containers go out around Garden Farms, not far from California Polytechnic State University and anywhere else inside 93422. If your site sits just outside the city limits, that is normally still fine - tell us the address and we will confirm.
California has asked for construction debris to be diverted since AB 939, and CALGreen now asks most new construction and many alterations to divert 65% of what the job produces. Cities enforce it through a waste management plan filed with the permit, often with a deposit released only once you show where the material went.
The weight ticket from the receiving facility is that evidence, so we send one for every load whether you ask or not. It also changes how to order: a separated load of clean concrete, clean wood or metal is credited at a far higher rate than a mixed box, so on a job that has to hit a number, two containers usually beat one.
Plenty of work around Garden Farms is fire-driven: defensible space clearance, fence and deck replacement, re-roofs going back as fire-rated assemblies, and the rebuilds that follow a bad season. Vegetation and timber are bulky rather than dense, so volume usually decides the container and a 30 or 40 yard earns its keep.
Debris from a property that actually burned is different, and we will say so rather than take the booking: fire debris is handled through the agency-run cleanup programmes, which exist because ash and the material under it are treated as hazardous. Ordinary repair and upgrade work in the same neighbourhood we handle as normal.
We deliver across Garden Farms and 93422. These are the reference points customers use most when describing where a container needs to go.
Six services covering Garden Farms and San Luis Obispo County. Each is sized on its own logic.
Four container sizes, delivered to jobsites and driveways nationwide.
Concrete goes in a dedicated container, not a mixed one.
Demolition produces mixed, heavy and awkward debris faster than any other kind of work.
Shingles are dense, so roofing containers are ordered by squares rather than by volume.
Remodel debris is mixed and mostly light, which makes these the jobs where ordering by volume works.
Cleanouts are rarely only about the debris.
For Garden Farms we quote from four sizes. The useful rule is that the denser the debris, the smaller the container you want - a 40 yard of broken slab cannot legally be lifted, so on heavy material a smaller box swapped twice moves more material.
The order of events is simple. We size it on the phone, deliver to Garden Farms usually next day, you fill it to the rail, and we pull it or swap it when you call. The only step that catches people is the fill line.
Full dimensions, tonnage allowances and the prohibited-materials list are on the roll-off containers in Garden Farms, and each debris type has its own sizing guidance.
Why the number gets kept rather than used once.
Every quote carries a written tonnage allowance. Overage is billed at the actual disposal rate for San Luis Obispo County with the scale ticket attached. We do not mark up tipping fees.
Weight is what costs money, not volume. A container of broken slab in Garden Farms reaches its legal haul weight at about a third full, while the same box of cabinetry and carpet never gets close. We ask what you are throwing away first.
Dry-run fees, rejected loads, permit requirements and driveway marking are all avoidable with a two-minute conversation at booking. We would rather have that conversation than send an invoice explaining it.
On demolition and heavy cleanout work the container is the bottleneck. We schedule swaps against your crew throughput so nobody in Garden Farms is stacking debris on the ground waiting for a truck.
For heavy material such as concrete, brick, soil and tile, take a 10 or 15 yard and expect it to look half empty when it is legally full. For light bulky debris such as framing, furniture and cleanout waste, order by volume and go one size up.
Not on private property such as a driveway or a jobsite lot. Street or right-of-way placement needs a permit from the city, and requirements differ between California municipalities. We will tell you what applies before delivery.
You can, but it costs more. Clean concrete goes to a crushing facility at a lower rate than mixed debris at a landfill, and one pallet of drywall reclassifies the whole load. On a job with both, two containers usually cost less than one.
Call and we will swap it. An empty replaces the full one in the same visit so the crew keeps loading. Do not fill above the top rail - an overloaded container cannot be tarped and cannot legally be hauled.
Not if it is set on boards. Ask for plywood under the rails and wheels when you book and the driver will place it that way at no charge. Southern heat softens concrete enough that this is worth doing.

Describe the job and we will tell you which container fits and what it costs to empty. No obligation and no call-back queue.
