Construction dumpsters for contractors, trades and homeowners working in Stanford near Stanford University.
The jobs we see most in Stanford are the ones with a fixed end date: a rental turn, a sale deadline, a tenant due in. We schedule the haul against that date rather than against an optimistic finish, so the box is gone when it needs to be.
We cover Stanford itself plus West Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Atherton, which puts most of this part of Santa Clara County on the same delivery round. Work near Stanford University and Stanford Stadium is routine for us.
Seismic retrofit work is steady across this part of California - soft-storey bracing, foundation bolting, cripple-wall sheathing and the chimney that comes down before it falls down. What comes out is concrete, cut stucco, brick and steel, which is dense enough that weight decides the container long before volume does.
A 10 or 15 yard that leaves on schedule beats a 30 yard the driver cannot legally lift, so on retrofit work we would rather place a small box and swap it. If the job also strips plaster and lath, tell us - that part is bulky, and the two materials size very differently.
With Stanford University in the area, Stanford sees the turn cycle that comes with student housing: heavy clear-out demand at the end of term, then make-ready work before the next intake. Both are container-hungry and both run to fixed dates.
Campus and off-campus projects often have access constraints - gated lots, restricted delivery hours, tight service drives. Mention it when you book and we will send a container that can actually reach the building.
We deliver across Stanford and 94305. These are the reference points customers use most when describing where a container needs to go.
Six services covering Stanford and Santa Clara County. Each is sized on its own logic.
Four container sizes, delivered to jobsites and driveways nationwide.
Concrete goes in a dedicated container, not a mixed one.
Demolition produces mixed, heavy and awkward debris faster than any other kind of work.
Shingles are dense, so roofing containers are ordered by squares rather than by volume.
Remodel debris is mixed and mostly light, which makes these the jobs where ordering by volume works.
Cleanouts are rarely only about the debris.
Most Stanford jobs land on a 20 or 30 yard. Go smaller, to a 10 or 15, the moment the load is concrete, tile or soil - those reach the legal haul weight at about a third of visible capacity. Go to a 40 only for light bulky debris.
Booking takes a few minutes: debris type, address, how long you need it. We need roughly 60 feet of straight approach and 23 feet of overhead clearance to set a container down, so clear the spot before the window opens.
Full dimensions, tonnage allowances and the prohibited-materials list are on the roll-off containers in Stanford, and each debris type has its own sizing guidance.
Four things contractors tell us matter, and the reasons we work the way we do.
Disposal pricing is set by the facility that receives your load, and that varies across California. We quote Stanford against the facility that will actually take the debris rather than an average that changes later.
Every quote carries a written tonnage allowance. Overage is billed at the actual disposal rate for Santa Clara County with the scale ticket attached. We do not mark up tipping fees.
Dry-run fees, rejected loads, permit requirements and driveway marking are all avoidable with a two-minute conversation at booking. We would rather have that conversation than send an invoice explaining it.
On demolition and heavy cleanout work the container is the bottleneck. We schedule swaps against your crew throughput so nobody in Stanford is stacking debris on the ground waiting for a truck.
Wet paint, solvents, automotive fluids, asbestos-containing material, tires, batteries, propane tanks, un-evacuated refrigerant appliances and medical waste. These limits come from the receiving facility, not from us.
Call and we will swap it. An empty replaces the full one in the same visit so the crew keeps loading. Do not fill above the top rail - an overloaded container cannot be tarped and cannot legally be hauled.
It depends on the container size, the debris type and the disposal rate in Santa Clara County, which is why we do not publish one price. Tell us what you are throwing away and the ZIP and you get a firm number with the tonnage allowance in it.
You can, but it costs more. Clean concrete goes to a crushing facility at a lower rate than mixed debris at a landfill, and one pallet of drywall reclassifies the whole load. On a job with both, two containers usually cost less than one.
A standard rental runs 7 to 10 days. Longer holds are normal on active construction and estate clearances, and they are quoted by the day up front rather than appearing on the final invoice.
Same containers, same terms, same number across Santa Clara County.
Give us the address in 94305 and what is coming out. You get a size, a price and a delivery day, usually in under three minutes.
